Servest Central Control Room Dashboard – WHAT DID WE SOLVE?

Servest Parking a division of Bidvest reached out to Tigerfish Software to assist with building a centralised monitoring solution for their various parking facilities.

The challenge that Servest faced was the ability to view the status of the equipment at these various sites in a centralised fashion.  Prior to the building of the solution the operators and management would have to connect into each site to view status message and interact with the equipment.

The solution also required an integration with the parking equipment in order to both receive and to send message to the equipment for actions such as viewing equipment health to opening boom gate and issuing new parking tickets.

The new system build for Servest is a modern state of the art dashboard interface where operators can now get a holistic view of the entire parking eco system saving them both time and money from an operations perspective.

The modern state of the art user interface is both mobile responsive (works on mobile browsers) and is a fully fledged web application that works on all modern web browsers (desktop).

The solution continues to grow and Tigerfish Software are in the process of gearing up to build the next phase of the solution where integration with more devices and other equipment provider will be added to the solutions capabilities.

The solution provided for the launch of the central control room system at various test sites across the county. Further measurement and analysis of the system is being conducted to identify the appropriate enhancements to be delivered in phase 2


The system was built in C# comprising a .NET Core 3.1(LTS) with MVC methodology implementation consisting of best practice implementation to handle the Servest parking requirements.

Processing on average 70 000 transmission events daily per parking site across southern Africa.
